Stephen Minnett
DIRECTOR
Stephen first became involved in workplace strategy as a Director of Future Environments at Geyer before founding Futurespace in 2001 where he was the Workplace Strategy Leader. The name Futurespace came from Stephen’s interest in the Future of the Workpace. Now at Next Workplace, Stephen works with a diverse range of clients to develop bespoke workplace strategies that address their future business needs, into their Next Workplace.
His passion for the built environment was initially driven by an interest in places and cultures where design was recognised as an important part of life. This led Stephen to study architecture and to regularly travel the world studying and researching the very best in design and architecture globally.
Stephen believes it’s only through a holistic approach to design which combines physical, human and technological components can a high performing environment be fully realised. With over 30 years of experience, Stephen is a recognised expert in workplace strategy and the delivery of solutions that offer competitive advantages for businesses whilst addressing the goals of productivity, engagement and profitability.
Stephen’s experience also underpins the belief that the physical environment has an important influence on peoples lives. With the impact of COVID on how people work and the widespread adoption of different types of hybrid working we are now in a very dynamic and changing environment that requires an intelligent strategy to drive workplace behaviours and performance.
Stephen looks at all the latest developments in workplace through the lens of a professional who has spent more than 30 years interpreting these influences into an appropriate strategy for an organisation.
